SUMMARY:Kawartha Black Bear Run
DESCRIPTION:The Kawartha Black Bear Run returns! \nJoin KATVA & KORMA for our Kawartha Black Bear Run with Olympic medalist Elvis Stojko and after the ride meet professional figure skater and model Gladys Orozco.    \nSpend a day on the trails enjoying the beautiful pine compartments in the Somerville Forest and challenge yourself in the infamous 5-Points trail system. After the ride\, join us for a chicken or roast beef dinner at The Burnt River Community Centre. \nPre-registration is required before September 28\, 2026 for all RIDE and/or DINNER attendees. Dirt bikes\, ATVs and SXS are all welcome to attend. Unfortunately\, children under 8 cannot participate in the ride but can still be registered and join us for the dinner afterwards. \nCosts: \n\nFee yet to be determined\n\nFor the ride\, a valid trail pass is required. Permits from our Family of Clubs are accepted: HATVA\, Algonquin West\, Lake of Bays and Quad Niagara. Day passes can be purchased on-site. Dirt bike riders must be a member of the OFTR or purchase a day pass at the event. Ride check-in is at 8:00am.  \nFundraising games and activities will be available for all registrants with amazing pet items and general merchandise up for grabs. Lets have some fun and raise money for a great cause. All proceeds go to The Kibble Project to help pet rescues\, pet sanctuaries and other groups who are in need of food and supplies \nSXS must not exceed 64 inch width. \n2-ups with passengers must be legal factory 2-ups. \nRegistration not yet open.
