SUMMARY:Youth Ride - Easy Does It!
DESCRIPTION:An easy-does-it ride for the young ATV and SXS riders aged 12 to 18. Parents and guardians are more than welcome to join.  \nAbsolutely no rush on this ride – safety is priority. This ride is expected to be approximately 3 hours long. We’ll start at P2 Staging area off Pinery Rd so there are no road crossings on this ride. \nWe’ll cover basic paper map reading\, using Polaris Ride Command and What3Words.  \nSXS must not exceed 64 inch width. \n\n\nMeet between 9:00am and 9:30am\, ready to ride by 10:00am\nBring lunch/snacks for ride\n\nRegistration is not yet open.

SUMMARY:Sasquatch Skuttle - SXS Ride in the 5Points
DESCRIPTION:It’s been said that a Sasquatch rides a SXS in the 5-Points! \nThis ride will scuttle along at a quick pace over Sasquatch Territory in the 5-Points. The terrain consists of steep inclines and declines\, rocky outcrops\, tight twists and turns\, and gnarly roots. There may be some mud and water with go-arounds.  \nThis year\, you will need to pack a lunch. \nThis ride is meant for trail purpose SXS; utility machines will not be able to keep up to the trail conditions or the pace of the ride. Have a full tank of gas – there are no gas stations – a clean rad\, proper tires and a trailside repair kit in case of breakdowns. It is expected we will return to the staging area around 3pm\, but many variables can change this. \nSXS must not exceed 64 inch width. \nRegistration is not yet open.

DESCRIPTION:Come ride the 5-Points after dark with us! \nRiding in the dark is a whole new experience and brings an extra bit of thrill and challenge. We’ll ride through the expert trails of the 5-Points at a quick pace\, covering rock and steep inclines and declines\, sharp turns and possibly some mud or water with go-arounds. \nBring an extra layer of clothing to keep warm because even in summer it gets chilly in the woods after sunset. Bring a midnight lunch and snacks. Have a full tank of gas\, clean rad and trailside repair kit. It is expected we will return to the staging area around 2am\, but many variables can change this. \nNight Rides come with extra rules: \n\n\nNo beginner riders\nNo speakers with loud music – listen to music with ear buds\nBe mindful of excessively bright light bars\n\n\nDue to past night rides\, we must stress there is a zero tolerance to drug and alcohol use\, or disrespectful\, or unsafe behaviour. With that in mind\, Night Rides are a Member and Volunteer favourite ride that we hope to continue for many years to come. \nRegistration not yet open.\nThis ride is capped at 25 riders. \nThere are no size restrictions for SXS or ATVs on this ride.

SUMMARY:Kawartha Black Bear Run
DESCRIPTION:The Kawartha Black Bear Run returns! \nJoin KATVA & KORMA for our Kawartha Black Bear Run with Olympic medalist Elvis Stojko and after the ride meet professional figure skater and model Gladys Orozco.    \nSpend a day on the trails enjoying the beautiful pine compartments in the Somerville Forest and challenge yourself in the infamous 5-Points trail system. After the ride\, join us for a chicken or roast beef dinner at The Burnt River Community Centre. \nPre-registration is required before September 28\, 2026 for all RIDE and/or DINNER attendees. Dirt bikes\, ATVs and SXS are all welcome to attend. Unfortunately\, children under 8 cannot participate in the ride but can still be registered and join us for the dinner afterwards. \nCosts: \n\nFee yet to be determined\n\nFor the ride\, a valid trail pass is required. Permits from our Family of Clubs are accepted: HATVA\, Algonquin West\, Lake of Bays and Quad Niagara. Day passes can be purchased on-site. Dirt bike riders must be a member of the OFTR or purchase a day pass at the event. Ride check-in is at 8:00am.  \nFundraising games and activities will be available for all registrants with amazing pet items and general merchandise up for grabs. Lets have some fun and raise money for a great cause. All proceeds go to The Kibble Project to help pet rescues\, pet sanctuaries and other groups who are in need of food and supplies. \nRegistration not yet open.
