DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun ride on the south trails of Kawartha Lakes as we make our way down the VRT to the Hogsback known for its rolling forested hills and meadow vistas. This is a day of scenic trails at a relaxed pace\, some technical riding on the ridge and great views. Find out what makes this a hidden gem of the south trails. \nWe’ll meet at Golden Mile Rd just south of Lindsay. No children under 8 years old. Bring snacks and a lunch. Whether you are a novice\, intermediate\, or advanced rider\, the KORMA Ladies Thrill & Chill Ride will leave you with hours of exhilaration and notable accomplishments.\n \nThis women’s only event is a social\, fun\, and casual event with challenges for all skill levels in a positive and supportive setting. The event includes lunch and a free gift\, along with lasting friendships. This is an event you do not want to miss! \nFor novice riders\, the Somerville Forest is home to flowing\, smooth\, and surreal single-track riding. For our more advanced riders\, the southern forest and fringes of the northern forest offer challenging areas of exposed rock\, stream crossings\, and elevation changes. \nYou must be a member of the OFTR or purchase a KORMA day pass for this event. \nClick here to register.
