The Victoria Rail Trail in the area of Kinmount is re-opened after being closed due to trees blocking it from August 2nd’s tornado.

The speed limit on the Victoria Rail Trail from Garnet Graham Park in Fenelon Falls to Northline Road is 20km per hour.
The Victoria Rail Trail is a shared-use trail system that we are privileged to use. It is not a right, and as such, we can lose it. It is up all ATV riders to
Know before you ride. It is your responsibility to be aware of the Rules and Regulations for using the VRT.

Construction has now begun on the Victoria Rail Trail Corridor (VRTC) from Northline Road to north of the Burnt River Bridge. The trail isn’t necessarily closed but from time to time they may have it blocked off for safety reasons so please use caution and respect the crews out there working.

Important Notice that a section of the VRTC between Fenelon Falls and Northline Road will be closed to all traffic on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 for the removal of a large hazardous tree. Please avoid that section of the trail for the day.
