Join KATVA & KORMA on our first annual Kawartha Black Bear Run on September 16, 2023 with all proceeds going to The Kibble Project which helps animal shelters with everyday food and supplies.
Ride the beautiful trails in the Somerville Forest and 5-Points through breath-taking scenery and challenging trails in north Kawartha Lakes. Join us for a BBQ chicken or roast beef dinner with games and activities following the ride at The Burnt River Community Centre.
Pre-registration is required.
Check-in is at Burnt River Community Centre at 8:00am.
Costs:
- $75 per adult
- $40 per youth up to 16 years old (unfortunately youth under 8 years old cannot participate in the ride but are still welcome to join the dinner afterwards)

All proceeds go to The Kibble Project to help pet rescues, pet sanctuary’s and other groups who are in need of food and supplies.
A valid trail pass is required. Permits from our Family of Clubs are accepted: HATVA, Algonquin West, Lake of Bays and Quad Niagara. Day passes can be purchased on-site. Dirtbike riders must be a member of the OFTR.
Register in advance before September 6th. All ride participants (riders and passengers) must register separately and sign a waiver.
The general public is invited to attend after the ride to learn about The Kibble Project and meet Canada’s own Elvis Stojko and professional figure skater and model Gladys Orozco to raise funds for their favourite cause. Fundraising games and activities will be available for all riders, passengers and the general public.
