Where to Stay
While you are here exploring our amazing trails, be sure to explore all of Kawartha Lakes and Peterborough County. We are located just 90 minutes from Toronto and 4 hours from Ottawa. Kawartha Lakes offers more than 250 lakes and rivers, 4 Provincial Parks, the Trent-Severn Waterway and picturesque small town beauty and charm around every bend.
After enjoying a day on our trails, treat yourself and your family to dinner at one of our local restaurants offering everything from pizza to fine dining, an evening at the theatre and the best locally-grown food you’ve ever tasted from one of our many Farmer’s Markets. You can’t beat the hospitality of our small businesses, local inns, hotels and motels, cafes, restaurants and roadside food stops. Be sure to bring everyone for family fun on and off the trails, take in some historic sites, live theatre, visitor friendly farms, famous fairs and festivals and plenty of unique shopping. Share some of your photos on our Facebook and Instagram with some of these #hashtags to show your love and promote our trails and our great community:
We’ve compiled a list of ATV/SXS friendly establishments and links to great tourism ideas for your stay here.
Kenhaven Trailer Park
(Seasonal Camping only)

Misty Valley Country Bed & Breakfast

Although we do have crown land in our area, it can be difficult to find an open campsite – most of these areas are filled up very quickly, so there are no guarantees of availability. Be sure it is crown land that you are staying on and not private property. If you want to take a chance on finding a crown land spot, parking is available at the Superior Propane Parking lot on Cty Rd 121 just north of Superior Propane (use at your own risk).
