As we begin our 2016 membership season, KATVA would like to take this time acknowledge our community partner – The Fenelon Falls Chamber of Commerce and Tourist Information Centre. Over the past 3 years KATVA has fostered a positive and rewarding relationship with this local business and tourism institution.
The Fenelon Falls Chamber of Commerce is contracted by KATVA to process membership. The Chamber has a fully staffed, insured and audited business office that is equipped to process our membership efficiently and effectively. They also provide a friendly face at the business office for riders to purchase passes, maps and to access information about local trails. The relationship has become a successful and valuable asset to our club and we look forward to working with them again this year.
Interestingly, the partnership has proven to have positive benefits beyond the business perspective. People take notice of things that they have a vested interest in. The local business community and local supporting government now have a first-hand understanding of the revenue and tourism opportunity that ATVing brings to this community. This has opened the door for advocacy and education that would not have been previously realized with this level of impact.
The bigger picture … this relationship is a WIN – WIN – WIN ! Thanks to everyone from both groups who have worked to make this successful for everyone.
