KATVA has maintained a strong relationship with HATVA that continues to this day. In 2008, KATVA struck a formal reciprocal agreement with HATVA to permit members to ride each other’s respective trails. This arrangement is honoured by both the City of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton County who in turn recognize valid KATVA and HATVA trail permits. The agreement has been expanded over the years to include Lake of Bays ATV Club, Quad Niagara and Algonquin West ATV Club.
