Trail Hazards Identified

The trail is washed out at Thunderbridge Road, Broken pavement diverts rainwater across the trail, This is an ongoing issue since May 2024 that has not been repaired! On the South trail, the weed at the side of the trail have been cut back on one side in areas on both sides is some areas and not at all in areas. Several gates have been left open in different areas of the trail. QUESTION is will the city complete the weed cutting then relock all the gates. AS usual the trail in places is rocky with "washboard" surface. There are a few puddles but no complete flooding. 5 vehicles parked at the trail entrance on Mount Horeb Road, there was barely room to get the ATV through.

Notes

The Side by Side was parked at the Cafe on 7A, an ice cream and pastry shop in Bethany, I talked to him about the rules for S x S and gave him a map to show where he could legally ride. He did not have a KATVA pass, he had a 4 year old passenger with a DOT helmet, When he left, he drove up Ski Hill Road.. There were too many infractions to list.
