| Trail Hazards Identified | 6" Tree removed from VRT 50' north of Ken Reid Road, cyclist assisted us. He stated he was riding to Haliburton and asked for trail conditions. |

| Notes | Many pedestrians and ATV enthusiasts requested information. It was good to be able reeducate their perceptions/misinformation. A SxS, just north of Bethany, was informed he was not allowed on the trails unless he was north of Nothline and south of Haliburton District. he stated he lived just across the road. We stated that didn't constitute an exemption and he needed a trail pass regardless if he wanted to ride any trail. His wife berated him far more than we ever could have legally. Another SxS at Bethany was informed the same but he at least had KATVA and Ganaraska permits. He apologized and stated he was making a grocery run from the campground and was unaware of SxS policies for the area. An ATV was stopped just north of Ken Reid Park with a minor driving. Informed him the youth must have taken the ATV course or have a valid drivers license. He stated that the youth was 16.and small for his age. Why would people lie in front of their children? They switched positions and left. |
