Trails Closed Until May 1st

Just a reminder that trails remain closed until May 1st.

Thank you to all our members who patiently await the May 1 opening date. Kawartha Lakes has posted signs at the Somerville Forest to remind everyone of this date. Are you as excited as we are!? Riding

Trails Closed – Thanks for a Great Riding Season

Almost as if on cue the snow is here and the trails are now closed and respectfully handed over to the snowmobile clubs and their members for their riding season.

Sandy Blackmore Passes Away

Sandy Blackmore and her late husband John were long-time volunteers with KATVA. Sandy was also the first woman volunteer firefighter at the Burnt River Fire Hall.  She passed away on Monday, July 6th, 2020 after a courageous battle against cancer.

Sandy will be deeply missed by the KATVA family.
