Think you’re smarter than the average gearhead? This is a day of fun challenges you can do solo or with a group. KATVA volunteers will leave clues and puzzles on the trail leading you from spot to spot until you find us at a hidden location. Bragging rights are on the line! This is a
Join us on a Memorial Ride through the trails that meant so much to our volunteers who are no longer with us. On this ride, we pay tribute to all the KATVA volunteers lost through the years by doing something they loved so much - riding the trails and sharing the trails with others!
This ride will be split into 2 groups depending on your comfort level - a Beginner/Intermediate group at a more relaxed pace over easier-to-handle terrain, and an Intermediate/Expert group at a quicker pace over more challenging trails.
Riding in the dark is a whole new experience and brings an extra bit of thrill and challenge. We’ll ride through the expert trails of the 5-Points at a quick pace, covering rock and steep inclines and declines, sharp turns and possibly some mud or water with go-arounds.
Jon KATVA & KORMA for our 3rd Annual Kawartha Black Bear Run with Olympic medalist Elvis Stojko and after the ride meet professional figure skater and model Gladys Orozco. All proceeds go to The Kibble Project to help pet rescues, pet sanctuaries and other groups who are in need of food and supplies.
With luck, the fall colours will be at their peak making this a beautiful ride. Join us as we take a run to Haliburton for lunch. We'll stop at Ritchie Falls for some sightseeing!
Join us on our last ride of the season! We'll ride the 5-Points to Picard Lake and back. There there might be a bit of snow, ice or frost...we'll find out! But for sure it will be cold so dress warm.
