Kawartha Ride For Dad – On Saturday June 4th we held our second annual Ride For Dad Event. We had 252 registered riders plus additional guests attend the event…. We raised over $13,000 in registration and pledges. We also raised over $3000 in sponsorships, with more still coming in as
KATVA and BDSC maintenance crews were out May 19th to examine damages to the Salerno Creek bridge, located on our trail #55, about 3 Km north of Salmon Lake Rd. The KATVA training team held their first CASI ATV safety training course for youth today at the Lindsay Fairgrounds. Everyone braved the elements from snow and rain, to high winds which challenged our marker cones.
All the students completed the course with smiles on their faces, and are now proud graduates of the CASI ATV Safety
Saturday April 23rd was Victoria Rail Trail Cleanup day for the KATVA team of volunteers. More than 40 volunteers cleaned up garbage and debris along the entire 84 km length of the VRTC from Bethany to Kinmount. We get special permission from the City of Kawartha Lakes to be on the trail
